Site Info

Please note: Neither the House of Netjer, the Kemetic Orthodox faith, or the webmaster necessarily support the intent of the people who develop the products we use. Inclusion on this page is simply for those who are interested in knowing how we built this site.

Design and content for this site is edited using a combination of standard Windows text editors and two Macromedia products: Homesite and Dreamweaver. PaintShopPro (versions 4 and 5) and Adobe PhotoShop are used for most images. The site itself is hosted by Site5, an Apache-based web provider.

We register our domains with Domain Direct, a division of TuCows.net.

Our links and bookstore sections are powered using Links 2.0 by Gossamer-Threads. Our search engine comes from Xav.com. We recommend the Coranto PERL script for frontpage news (used on many of our sites). Our preferred forum software is UBBThreads, the license of which is available from InfoPop. Credit card processing for those who have generously chosen to donate to us is provided by PayPal.

Our daily devotions page features Greymatter, a program written by Noah Grey.

This site is developed to be viewed by most browsers, however if you are having difficulties we'd like to hear from you. Please send email to the webmaster (webmaster@Kemet.org) detailing your browser, browser version, platform, machine type, and method of connection. This site is at its best when seen using the latest version of Internet Explorer or Firefox.

Our current webstaff is a group of dedicated Shemsu and Remetj who have gratefully devoted countless hours of work for us. We appreciate all their help. Dua Netjer en tien.
